Brooklyn Soul is a new monthly Dance Party that encompasses soul music from around the globe. The dance party will feature some of New York City’s premier Dj’s playing the best in 80’s Classics, R&B, Latin, Neo-Soul, Reggae, Afro-Beat, Funk, Soul and Calypso music. For the premiere event entry is FREE for everyone on the guest list with RSVP.
Brooklyn Soul is inspired by the multicultural city it is named after. We will play a global blend of music from artists such as Fela Kuti, Beres Hammond, Ceilia Cruz, Jill Scott, Outkast, Kassav, Jay Z, Machel Montano, Nina Simone, P Squared, Floetry, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Soul to Soul, Queen, Men At Work, Madonna and Prince.
